Samsung will advertise Galaxy Note in expensive 90-second Super Bowl commercial

Samsung is announcing something “big” during Super Bowl XLVI. The Korean giant could mean big literally, as in the size of its device, or figuratively, as in the reception the company hopes to receive. Whichever kind of big Samsung meant, the just-announced for AT&T Galaxy Note will be advertised during Sunday’s big game.

Motorola Xoom commercial debuts during Super Bowl. Love it or hate it? [Video]

Motorola’s much-hyped commercial for the Xoom tablet debuted during the 2011 NFL Super Bowl. While we previously saw a tease of the ad, which takes stabs at Apple’s iPad, the full advertisement was finally seen in the early portion of the second quarter. The Xoom commercial showed a 1984-like world where everyone is under the spell of a controlling faction that makes everyone think the same and act the same.

Samsung preparing Google TV for 2011

Samsung may already have its own televisions with integrated apps, but that won’t stop the Korean manufacturer from giving Google TV a go. According to a BusinessWeek report , Samsung is “open” to using Intel chips in its products and is expected to display its Google TV-enabled screen in January. The television market is expected to experience a difficult period because of large inventory of products, so there will be serious price competition among companies.
