The Google Nexus S 4G is coming to Sprint. Samsung Mobile just announced that a version of the Nexus S, originally available through T-Mobile USA, is coming to Sprint with 4G WiMax speeds supported and “unprecedented controls and services enabled by Google Voice integration built into the Sprint Network.” The Nexus S 4G is mostly similar to the Nexus S that T-Mobile users have grown to love and hate.

Today, Samsung announced the development of a new lower-power NFC chip which features embedded flash memory. Eric Schmidt set the mobile industry buzzing about NFCs when he announced NFC support in Android 2.3, and showed off a little demonstration with his Nexus S at the recent Web 2.0 Summit. NFC chips are for short range (less than 4 inches) communication and data transmission, and have many uses from subway passes, security access to mobile payment systems.

With the addition of Vlingo InCar mode, users could send texts, place calls, and search for locations without having to reach for the phone, or take their eyes off the road.
