Sprint announced today that it would soon deliver two bundled services designed to increase the safety of family members and protect the devices that they own. The Sprint Guardian service will combine the features of Safely and Lookout, giving subscribers the option to purchase premium versions of both apps or sign-up only for one.

AT&T family data plans in the works says CEO

Google I/O 2012 extended to 3 days, moved to June 27

Google I/O is Google’s biggest developer event, and has become the launchpad for some big announcements relevant to consumers each year. I/O has grown beyond what Google can contain in two-days, so the Mountain View-based company is adding an extra day to the 2012 edition. Monica Tran of the Google I/O team has announced that I/O 2012 will take place June 27-29, 2012.
