T-Mobile USA HTC Sensation gets Android 4.0 this week, HTC Amaze to follow in “coming weeks”

The long wait for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is finally ending this week for customers of T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G. T-Mobile USA has updated its support forums to reveal that beginning on May 16 (Wednesday), a software update will roll-out to the Sensation. That update will be the long-awaited upgrade to Android 4.0.3.

Verizon launches the Motorola DROID RAZR in Blue in select stores, online on May 17

In case the black, white, or purple Motorola DROID RAZR just doesn’t suit you, then Verizon wants to offer you a chance to purchase the same DROID RAZR in blue.  Currently, the Motorola DROID RAZR in a blue finish is available in select stores across the United States.  If your local Verizon Wireless retail store doesn’t have the blue model in stock, then you will simply have to wait until May 17 for a chance to purchase it online.

HBO GO and Max GO updated to support Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

HBO Go – which offers on-demand streaming of HBO’s massive video library, including new episodes of popular shows for anyone with a subscription to the channel – is one of the best apps on Android. But the greatness of the app was previously unavailable because it didn’t support Android phones running Ice Cream Sandwich. Today, HBO has addressed the problem and added support for phones up to Android 4.0.4

Android 4.0 reaches its highest distribution level yet – about 5% – as Gingerbread rises

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich hasn’t caught on with many devices. Unless you have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Asus Transformer Prime, or taken matters into your own hands and uploaded a ICS-based custom ROM, there’s a good chance you’ve yet to see how much better is the latest version of Android.

T-Mobile USA puts HTC One S on sale for $199 beginning on April 25

T-Mobile USA has confirmed that it will launch the HTC One S next week. America’s fourth-place carrier, in the midst of some brand reinvention , hopes that a $199 price tag and promise of 4G HSPA+ will make this an attractive phone to customers. The One S goes sale April 25, and it will deliver plenty of features.
